Where is Medhufushi?

The island of Medhufushi is located in the Republic of the Maldives, at the heart of the Indian Ocean. A tropical paradise amidst turquoise seas, our Maldives beach resort lies in the Meemu Atoll – a beautiful seascape like nowhere else on Earth, yet within a 40 minutes seaplane ride from the Maldives’ international airport.

Arrival & Transfer

Transfer to Medhufushi can be arranged via seaplane.

If you are travelling by seaplane, our Airport Hosts will greet you on arrival, check you in for your seaplane and escort you to the terminal which features a dedicated Lounge for you to relax in whilst you wait for your flight. Soon you will embark on your 40 minute seaplane ride that offers an unforgettable bird’s eye view of the stunning atolls below.

Maximum waiting hours for the seaplane transfers are 3 hours and it’s subject to vary if an unexpected bad weather condition or the delay of international flights of any joining passengers.

Our Airport Hosts are available at the airport during transfer operational hours (generally from 07:00hrs to 15:00hrs).

At Medhufushi, check-in is at 14:00hrs, check-out is at 12:00hrs. Airport transfers to Medhufushi operates only during day time hours. Arrival and Departure flight details are required at least 72 hours prior to arrival date in order to arrange return transfers.
